Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines In the summer of 2003 there was a need. Strapped for cash and tons of time to spare, I lacked in creative ways to both stay entertained and not break the already hollow piggy bank. Listening to my favorite radio station I found myself between a car dealership commercial, laser hair removal and 50 more minutes of uninterrupted rock. Sandwiched in that 30 second spot was an ad that changed my life. It foretold of a free screening of "Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines" later that week. In order to score the limited edition tickets I simply had to donate a cameo at the local hair salon between my daily lunchtime and siesta, informing them that destiny had surely sent me.

Days later I stood at my local Cineplex in amazement at the volume of people who had answered the calling and received these free tickets. The people stood in line like dominos, waiting to push each other over at the opening of the theatre doors. It was here that I learned of the underground world of free movie screenings. It was like a club that required no fees and only asked that you participate in their various contests to earn the right to not only see these blockbusters prior to their release, but to also see them for FREE!

That was the start of a whole new existence for me. I've spent the last few years gathering online resources to feed this unquenchable thirst for viewing top rated movies before they are released for public viewing... without breaking a single law or having to take a second job popping popcorn and tearing tickets.

Being that my day job affords me the knowledge of such things as web development, I eventually put two and two together and thought, "hey, I could spread the love... and maybe even hear about screenings not announced via my normal channels." That is the drive that brings this site to you today. So enjoy it, and if you stumble across a free screening... share the wealth and post it!
